1. What is your main objective in bundling your works with other authors?
Yes, bundling our work allows us to increase our reach to readers interested in our thriller/suspense genre. The book I put in the Love Under Fire set. Summer of ’78 is the first in what will be a retro romantic thriller trilogy. It’s my hope that this box set will help me get more fans for the trilogy then I would on my own.
2. What blogging, newsletter and social media promotions have you done to promote LUF?
One of the big ways I support this set is by posting regularly on Facebook and Twitter, and daily retweeting and sharing all the other author's social media post. Another way I support the set by trying to get other authors and sets to do newsletter swaps to promote it. I also send out newsletters twice a month to my readers and always bring up the set on everyone I send out. All of my subscribers receive a free copy of my novel, Walker Texas Wife, and a sample of the first two chapters of my Red on the Run. 3. Most authors require a large time commitment just in writing and editing a new book. Was this your first book set, a new book was required with a deadline?
This is the second set I’ve been in. My first set was Wedding Dreams, which went on to make the USA Today Bestseller list. I wrote the Summer of ’78 a few years ago, but I never got around to getting it edited and published. So I only needed to get the novel edited for this set.
