1. What is your main objective in bundling your works with other authors?
Bundling books from various authors help these authors extend their readership. In addition, the authors bring to the table various skills and help each other. Promotion is less expensive than if you are on your own. I was probably one of the first authors to coordinate a multi-author box in 2014 with a different group of ten authors. The result surpassed our wildest dreams and the box sold thousands of copies, remaining under a rank of 50 on Amazon. Although we never reached a list it was a learning opportunity. We studied the wrongdoing and learned not to repeat the mistakes. Later I coordinated, formatted or simply participated in more that twenty-five boxes, reaching the USA Today bestselling list nine times and the New York Times bestselling list once.
2. What blogging, newsletter and social media promotions have you done to promote the LOVE, CHRISTMAS collection?
The amount of promotion done for LOVE, CHRISTMAS 2 was incredible, each of the authors doing her share. In addition to tweeting, sharing, blogging, I organized a twitter party, and with another author coordinated a two-day Facebook Event. I formatted a promotion book, Book Bite LC2, offered free on Amazon. It would take too long to list all the promotions behind this box.
3. Most authors require a large time commitment just in writing and editing a new book. Was this your first book set, a new book was required with a deadline?
I published over 25 books, mostly contemporary romances, some sweet Christmas stories as the Holiday Babies Series, some medical romance novels with high sensual tension, a few romantic suspense books, and I tried my hand at a paranormal fantasy based on the Egyptian mythology. The Christmas boxes usually require a new book. As I said before, I participated in many boxes and I’m used to their requirements.
4. When will you publish your writings outside the LOVE, CHRISTMAS collection? My contribution to Love Christmas 2 is Jingle With My Princess, book 3 of Modern Princes Series. It will be published on December 1st, 2018.
